The Catholic Foundation of the Diocese of Colorado Springs, Inc., was established by His Excellency, The Most Reverend Richard Charles Patrick Hanifen in 1991 to establish, maintain, and distribute funds for the benefit of the parishes and schools, apostolates, and other ministries, of the Diocese of Colorado Springs. 

In conjunction with the Diocese’s 40th Anniversary in 2024, the CFCS renewed its commitment to supporting the growth and sustainability of Diocesan ministries. Under the guidance of its Board of Directors, the Foundation has re-dedicated itself to providing a sustainable future for its beneficiaries and fulfilling its mission of “creating a legacy of support for the apostolates and ministries of the Diocese of Colorado Springs.”
